Event Management Platform
The problem
Firebird 360 is rebuilding event management for meeting planners — conferences, summits, large gatherings. Founder Peter Wyatt brings 20+ years of event-software experience and a clear point of view: planners deserve one integrated platform, not a patchwork of tools that each solve a slice of the workflow.
The new platform launches later this year. To get there, the team needed senior engineering capacity on a critical component without going through a multi-month hiring loop.
The approach
We embedded a SwiftX engineer directly into Firebird's product team. The engagement model is straightforward: dedicated headcount, integrated into Firebird's stack, accountable to their product roadmap.
Concretely:
- Embedded delivery, not outsourcing-from-a-distance. Our engineer attends Firebird standups, owns tickets in their backlog, and writes code in Firebird's repo.
- Senior bar, not junior augmentation. The engineer brings the same standards we apply to our own AI and platform builds.
- Long-horizon partnership. Firebird scoped this as a multi-year relationship — not a sprint to ship a feature.
The impact
The platform launches in 2026 with the SwiftX-built component as one of its key surfaces. Peter has since signaled an intent to expand the engagement as the business grows.
